'Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants', released on October 6th, is a smash and grab sensation of a pop song that whiffs of cheap aftershave on teenage cheek flesh, ripe with a sheer lust for adventure.
The second single to be taken from Wild Beasts' debut album Limbo, Panto, washes out the mouth and dunks the head through its utter jiving urgency, reeling rhythms and soft-on-the-outside-hard-on-the-inside vocals.
As happy go lucky as the bingo hall from which it was born, this winner is a one off.
'Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants' will be available on 7" single and digital download. Tracklisting is TBC.
Wild Beasts' are taking their exceptional live show to the road, playing a home coming gig in Kendal on July 25th and a special show at the legendary 100 Club in London on July 29th.
The band will also be playing before Tricky at the Barbican on October 10th as part of Domino's Crystal Anniversary shows. The four-piece will perform at many festivals including Underage, Green Man and Reading and Leeds.

"The first music I was into was musicals: stuff like Hair and the Rocky Horror film. Those songs had a big effect on me. And I'm an unashamedly huge country fan. My aunt in Houston always played the country stations. I'm pretty out of date with the new indie bands, though I still listen to a lot of hip hop."
This most unassuming of sonic polymaths is best known as the guitarist with the hot pink axe in precocious trio Test Icicles: pick 'n' mix purveyors of garish riff and agitated rhythm, who lit up the UK underground in 2005 before calling it quits a year later with a headline show at London's prestigious Astoria Theatre. "Test Icicles was one... ![]()
