Arriving on 25th April 2011 is All Come Down, the new single by Steve Mason taken from last years solo record Boys Outside, the 10 song album Steve produced with pop visionary Richard X, which wowed the critics into saying things like this:

'Epic' – Q 4/5

'Boys Outside is truly lovely. Mason’s finest solo record' – Uncut 4/5

'Mason’s best post Beta Band work' – Mojo 4/5

'Elegant and stirring' – NME 8/10

'Beautiful, spare & elegant' – Independent

As one of the stand-out tracks from an album packed with beautiful tunes it was practically a no brainer that this should become a single. Tying in with the release of All Come Down, Steve will be embarking upon a UK headline tour in April playing his biggest shows to date accompanied by a full band. The dates are as follows:

12th April - Deaf Institute, Manchester UK
13th April - Scala, London UK
16th April - Button Factory, Dublin UK

Steve is currently in the studio with the legendary producer / musician Dennis Bovell working on a ‘dub version’ of the Boys Outside album. One of the leading lights of U.K. reggae, Bovell gained renown with his own group, Matumbi and also worked with the likes of Linton Kwesi Johnson, I-Roy, Janet Kay. He also produced a wide diversity of bands including The Pop Group, Orange Juice and The Slits. The album is nearing completion and release plans will be announced shortly.
