We've got a plethora of Kills delights to stimulate your eyes and ears…
Firstly, congratulations to the winners of The Last Day of Magic Postcard competition; it was a tricky decision but you can check out the winning drawings and paintings and photographs that struck a cord with Alison and Jamie and you can read Alison’s account of the "…lovely and particularly funny...blur" that was this year's Glastonbury Festival.
If an audio fix is more in order, Listen up to The Kills in conversation with Andrew Loog Oldham (the man managed the Stones and discovered Marianne Faithful) on his radio station talking about growing up, mutual music and book loves, Alison's first love – Fugazi and the importance of getting lost in-between amongst a thumping selection of great music from the likes of The Werewolves, The Kinks, the Stones, Van Zandt and more.
Click here to listen to Andrew Loog Oldham's radio show on Sirus Satellite Radio and click on 24th May for The Kills show.
And/or…
Listen to the Sex Pistols' Steve Jones taking time out from playing celebrity football with Hollywood United FC, for his show on LA's Indie 103 talking to the Kills about playing big venues, Alan McGee and foot pedals, and Alison and Jamie pull off some cracking live acoustic versions of 'Kissy Kissy’'and ‘Hook and Line’ and 'Goodnight Bad Morning'.
Enjoy.
The Kills' kickass new single 'The Last Day of Magic' is out now and available from our Mart on 7".
