Last week we announced the literary debut of James Yorkston, a warts and all assessment of life on the road titled ‘It’s Lovely To Be Here – The Touring Diaries Of A Scottish Gent’, which also happens to be the first book to be published by Domino’s new publishing imprint, The Domino Press.

Now we can confirm that James will be embarking upon his first book tour early next year. Things kick off in Glasgow where James has confirmed an interview and performance in January as part of Glasgow Celtic Connections. The lunchtime event is a free Q&A with BBC Scotland Radio presenter Ian Anderson (no live music) and the evening event is a live performance.

Following this James will proceed to tour up and down the UK, reading excerpts from his book, as well as performing songs, old and new. The eleven date tour will end with a date at St. Giles Church in London on February 23rd.
