James Yorkston's debut book, 'It's Lovely To Be Here - The Touring Diaries of a Scottish Gent', is finally out in stores and ready to be read by anyone who might have the faintest interest in knowing what it feels like to live your life on the road. Doing away with the notion that touring is all glitz and glamour, 'It's Lovely To Be Here' has been attracting some rave reviews for it's honest, funny and insightful observations:

'A terrific trawl through the B-roads of the music biz, by someone actually in it.' - Word

'It's certainly a cut above the dull inanity of the now familiar touring blog and deserves to find traction beyond his immediate fanbase.' - MOJO 4*

'James Yorkston's writings provide more insight and humour in their coverage of five tours than most musicians could manage in a whole ghost-written life story.' - Drowned in Sound 8/10
