As part of the Three Blows all sound performances at the beautiful St Cecillia Church in Edinburgh, Danny and Richard from Correcto will be performing a special acoustic show on Saturday 5th July.

The event consists only of acoustic music, divided into two themed evenings entitled 'For the Voice' and 'Imaginary Landscape' and a third strand, 'Thinking Music' and highlighting innovative Scotland-based artists/musicians including Correcto, Tattie Toes, Richard Youngs, Red Krayola frontman, Mayo Thompson and 'prepared guitar' pioneer, Keith Rowe.

Three Blows sounds like an intriguing event, "derived from the pious romance of St. Cecilia, the patron saint of church music" , her desire to 'cantantibus organis illa in corde suo soi domino decantabat' (sing in her heart to God only) and who's appointed executioner let his sword fall three times without succeeding in severing her head from her neck. Gruesome eh?

Correcto's kinetic self titled debut album is out now and available from the Mart.
