Franz Ferdinand release a new single, Bullet, on Monday January 20th 2014, taken from their highly acclaimed, life affirming fourth album ‘Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action’.

Bullet was produced by Prince House Rabbit, recorded in Scotland and mixed in Vancouver, Canada by Mike Fraser.

The single is accompanied by a video directed by Glasgow School Of Art Alumni Andy Knowles, who has also shot videos for The Cribs, The Vaccines, Clinic and Peaches.

"I’ve worked with the band in one way or another since their first gig, back in 2002, which was in my ex-girlfriend’s bedroom. I wanted to capture a stripped back, honest performance and I think having a good relationship with the guys helped achieve this. The ‘bulletime’ effect was added to really draw out little moments that every fan will recognize as signature Franz live performance tics. The song is so fast, it demanded an equally dizzy editing style to really capture the energy." – Andy Knowles

Having recently completed an extensive US tour and currently in Japan and Australia, Franz Ferdinand have announced details of a U.K. tour in 2014, their first full UK tour since the release of the album.  Special guests will be announced soon.
