Great news for the lovely people of Liverpool,

Not only has master of yester-year elegance, film-maker Terence Davies immortalized the fare city in the recent documentary Of Time and the City, it’s this year’s Capital of Culture AND The Last Shadow Puppets have just been announced to play at this year’s BBC Electric Proms, performing at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall on Friday the 24th of October.

This is the first time the Electric Proms will be held in two cities (the other being London) with the dynamic duo provided their grand brand of dramatic scope to the Liverpool line up and should proves a hero’s welcome for local-lad-done-good Mr. Miles Kane.

Tickets will go on on sale on 17th September from the Electric Proms website

Both Miles and Alex will be performing live a full 16 piece orchestra, and live musicians James Ford (drums), John Ashton (keyboards) and Alex MacNaghten (bass) as they are currently for their warm up dates for their hotly anticipated Leeds and Reading Festival performances this weekend.
