Let the sunlight sparkle on the Seine! Parisian producers extraordinaires Chateau Marmont have set their considerably impressive musical powers to work on future Eugene McGuinness single "Harlequinade". They add a touch of effortless swagger and laid-back cool with their remix of the track taken from Eugene's upcoming album The Invitation to the Voyage (out on August 6th). Synths and saxophones melt together to create an almost cinematic and futuristic journey.

Known for their remixes of the likes of La Roux, Midnight Juggernauts and Ladyhawke, the French four piece come from a time when people still believed in the future, but with nods to, as the name suggests, vintage melancholia and widescreen romance. So pour a glass of Pernod, open your favourite Baudelaire collection and get French while you listen to this cracking record:
