'Islands' is the second single from the debut Archie Bronson Outfit album, Fur (July 26th 2004). A burning, chugging champion of a tune, 'Islands' finds the former art-school boys a-hollering their way through a lean and rugged stomp. The band's peculiarly British sound recalls at times the Groundhogs or even Wyatt's vocal, but they're coming from somewhere altogether 'other', and they know how to rock - The music is HEAVY, but they have a real lightness of touch - this stuff is beautiful and mean, all the same.
